UFC Undisputed 2010 Video game release party at Club M2 March 25, 2010

UFC came to N.Y.C to premier the release of the UFC Undisputed 2010 video game at Club M2.
It was amazing how the club was transformed into a big Video Arcade..

Club M2 surrounded the place w. Flat Screen T.Vs
where people who were lucky enough to be invited were able to play the game for themself..

The event was filled with people who understood how important connections are.
You didn’t know if  the person standing next to you
might be a writer for a MMA blog
OR
Even a internet T.V host…
A event like the UFC 2010 video game release
you have to be ready w.your business card
OR
If your me
You have your sharpie ready…
I took the opportunity to get autographs from the UFC Superstars that were there…
As soon as I saw the UFC Magazine on the shelf on the store
I bought two copies….
I brought it that day with the hopes of just getting one signature
Turns out I got autographs from:
UFC President Dana White
UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesner,
Former Champions Chuck Liddell and Matt Serra
Stephan Bonnar
Brandon Shaw
UFC Unleashed Host Mike GoldBerg

Here are some of the pics of the people who came out that night to make something happen outta nothing

I never knew the power of the UFC until I saw the amount of press at the event…
People from all over the world were literally at club M2

Mike Goldberg brought out Dana White all the UFC stars to answer questions about the event..

This picture of Dana White looking out into the crowd was one of the B.E.S.T pictures of the night.
Looking out into the sea of crowd
must of been a amazing feeling for Dana..
This man started working for the UFC IN 2001 along side  Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta,
Now
9 years later
Dana White and his team single handely made the U.F.C into a global sport.
For example,
The UFC broke the pay-per-view industry’s all-time records for a single year of business
gaining over $222,766,000 in revenue in 2006, surpassing both WWE and boxing…
I don’t know what Dana White was thinking
but I know it must of been a proud moment……….

Being surrounded by the people you respect
N
Sharing a laugh about it is what life is all about….

Mike Goldberg did a Q&A with Stephan Bonnar

He also did a tough Q&A w.Heavy Weight Champion Brock Lesner
Brock def had a tough personality
A personality who knows what he wants to do in life
N
Nothing would stop him from achieving it

Former UFC welterweight Matt Serra took time out to play the game w.a lucky fan who just happen to be
in the right place at the right time…

Also
I had to meet his lovely wife Ann
When I first saw them
I instantly knew that they had not only a marriage of L.O.V.E
but also a marriage built on friendship
N
That is priceless no matter if your a UFC Champion or a person who makes pizza for a living
Here is a photo of them in black n white…

If anyone is in the New Jersey area and want to check out the Serra BJJ
Please check out his website
http://www.serrajitsu.com/

Brock Lesner who is a person who walks w.confidence
understands that MMA is a sport that is loved by the young and old
Rich and poor
Men and Woman
When these 2 woman stopped him to take a picture
He made their day and that is power without using your fist..

Sharing a few moments speaking to Dana White was def a great moment for me..
Taking pictures is all about capturing the moment
N
This conversation will forever be a secret in this photo

Brandon Shaw was the ultimate salesman.
I can def see him being a ambassador for MMA
He spoke to reporters, Took pictures w.fans, and was working the crowd like a politican running for a senate seat..

Chuck Liddell and his girlfriend Heidi Northcott were together enjoying the moment

I caught the moment when Dana White was leaving and saying his goodbyes to Chuck and Heidi
Def a classic moment

Another classic moment came when I took a picture of Chuck signing my magazine.

I can’t find the picture that I took with Dana White
but it’s O.K
I will keep the memory alive in my mind…
N
One day
I will take another picture with him and post on this blog..

In the mean time
Here are the pictures of the UFC Superstars who make things happen on they’re own terms………..

I start this page on the 4th of July 2010

UFC IS AMERICA.
This blog is dedicated to the Men and Women who had a vision
N
 Made it happen…….

1991 is not that long ago
19 years is a great time to see the evolution of the fastest growing sport in the world.

I Start this blog because I believe that MMA
N
The principles behind it can save the world.

A world that can respect one another for they’re skill
Where a dream can become a reality if you have the courage to make it happen…

Art Davie met Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu pioneer Rorion Gracie in 1991, while researching martial arts for a marketing client
N
Davie proposed to Rorion Gracie and John Milius an eight-man, single-tournament with a title of War of the Worlds.
The tournament would feature martial artists from different disciplines facing each other in no-holds-barred combat to determine the best martial art. it would aim to replicate the excitement of the matches Davie had seen on the videos.
Milius, a film director and screenwriter, as well as a Gracie student, agreed to be the event’s creative director.
Davie drafted the business plan
N
twenty-eight investors contributed the initial capital to start WOW Promotions with the intent to develop the tournament into a television franchise.[14]

That is the power of MMA.
What started off with 31 people is now a sport that is in 130 countries
N
20 different languages worldwide.

This blog was really started on the 4th of July……..
A day that America celebrates the Declaration of Independence..
A day when FREEDOM is screamed
A day when the Fireworks are blown up in memory and celebration to the men and woman who have died for a cause

MMA Saved The World
I know that because millions of people have told me.

My personal dream is to document MMA all over the world.

I want to be able to take pictures of all the different people in the stands
cheering for they’re favorite fighter.

For Now

My dream is to travel the world
n
take pictures of people walking to and from a arena.
As a matter of fact
I can imagine myself in ancient rome
when people would flocc to the Roman Coliseum,
80 AD and now 2010
NOTHING HAS CHANGED
People will still go to a event
Because they have a L.O.V.E
A Respect
N
An a Admiration for the fighters involved…………….

For now
I will just take pictures of people leaving from watching the fireworks in N.Y.C……….

One day
I can see DJ Eric Morillo spinning beats at a party sponsored by
MMA Saved the World..
Putting his heart
N
Soul into the songs that he decides to play

I can see P-Diddy being at the party also
With one hand in the air
Loving every minute of the event

I can also see P-Diddy hanging out in the D.J Booth with Eric Morillo

I can also see P-Diddy hanging out in the D.J Booth with Eric Morillo

For now
I will settle for taking pictures of Eric Morillo and P-Diddy at Club Pasha in NYC
Here is a link of the Club Pasha website
http://pachanyc.com/

One day
My dream will come true
A dream that I can see happing right in front of my eyes
even if other people are focused on other things

How MMA Saved the World is offically documented as being born on the 4th of July 2010.
One day
My dream is to have a MMA fight ontop of a Boat with fireworks blasting in the background.
Surrounded by the top fighters from all over the world…
Surrounded by fans who respect them for their talents in and out of the ring
I can dream
but
for right now
I will settle for being able to take pictures of the fireworks going off in N.Y.C
Dreaming is the B.E.S.T
When you can actually see yourself living your dream…………………………………R09NYC
